Sprint Problems? Try Consumerist
Mike Overbo AKA “Overthrow” in the TreoCentral forums has written an interesting post about a new Consumerist hotline for folks who read the Consumerist and are unhappy with Sprint.
If you’re having any problems with Sprint and the regular customer service is treating you unfairly, there is a direct hotline you can use to escalate. It turns out that Sprint wants to avoid negative publicity on Consumerist, so they’ve provided a hotline for folks that read the Consumerist. It brings you out of whatever customer service dump into executive customer service.
It’s probably best to try the regular customer service, and if they fail you, pretend to read consumerist and escalate to the hotline. The negative press probably costs them more than taking care of you so you have a better chance of a fair deal.

Well, I personally know some people who will be sure to give this hotline a call. It’ll be a hot line alright because sparks will be flying!
