Bluetooth is an industrial specification for wireless personal area networks (PANs). Bluetooth provides a way to connect and exchange information between devices such as mobile phones, laptops, PCs, printers, digital cameras, and video game consoles over a secure, globally unlicensed short-range radio frequency.

There are many Bluetooth accessories that are compatible with the Palm Centro.

Bluetooth Headsets

With a Bluetooth headset, you can use your Centro hands-free. The Centro supports Bluetooth 1.2 but does not support A2DP, so Bluetooth Stereo headphones won’t work.

There is a wide variety of Bluetooth headsets for the Palm Centro. There are many shapes and sizes to choose from. Centro Depot has a great selection of Bluetooth headsets for the Palm Centro with prices ranging from $19.95 to $119.95. There are some nice Bluetooth headsets that have noise cancellation which enables you to talk while in a noisey environment. Even on some of the lesser priced headsets, you can get up to 11 hours of talk time.

Bluetooth Keyboards

The Centro has a full keyboard that is easy to type on but sometimes you might want to type out long emails or documents. A Bluetooth keyboard would be perfect for those occasions.

Bluetooth keyboards are compact yet full-sized and they are foldable.

Car Kits

Bluetooth car kits can be used in order to help you drive safely while talking on your Centro. Many states enforce the use of hands-free devices while driving so a car kit might be a perfect solution.
